Corrinne Yu deixa Microsoft para ir para Naughty Dog

Corrinne Yu anunciou que está de malas e bagagens na Naughty Dog como programadora no PlayStation 4, deixando a Microsoft após cinco anos onde foi uma das grandes aquisições da 343 Industries que desenvolveu a tecnologia de Halo 4, trabalhou na parte da iluminação e animação facial, e ainda criou um novo algoritmo de radiosidade dinâmica que foi utilizado no jogo. 

Yu já passou por vários estúdios entre os quais se encontram a Gearbox Software, deixando a sua marca em jogos como Borderlands, Quake 2 e King's Quest. E foi uma das fundadoras do conselho consultivo do Direct3D da Microsoft. 

Para que não restassem dúvidas a famosa programadora disse na sua conta do Twitter: "Estou a adorar a codificação de gráficos do PS4. Acabou-se o Windows 8 para mim. Estou tão feliz!" 

Com o vasto e rico currículo de Yu, espera-se que a programadora trabalhe num motor gráfico de um próximo projeto da Naughty Dog, quem sabe esteja já a trabalhar no novo Uncharted para o PlayStation 4.
